Method 2 – Remove Photo Tag From Facebook

You may consider some of the photos that you have been tagged to be inappropriate. That would make you look for the ways to hide them from public view. Untagging them can be a great way to do so.

The above method is used to provide you a blanket hiding of all your tagged photos. In some cases, it may not be a good idea. There may be some photos that you would love to be visible on your timeline and to your friends as well. Here are the steps you can follow:

  • Log in to your Facebook account.
  • Click on your name. This will take you to your profile.
  • Click on Photos below your cover photo. This will take you to your photos.
  • Click on Photos of You. You can now be shown the list of photos that you have been tagged.
  • Choose your tagged photo that you would want to remove.
  • Hover your mouse on the Edit or Remove button available on the photo.
  • Click on this button.
  • This step should give you options to remove the tag.
  • Click on Remove Tag.

Done! The steps above should remove the photo from your tagged list.
