Cricket Wireless has announced the addition of two Smartphones available to its teaming users. First on the list of the new entrants to Cricket wireless is the Alcatel Streak – the same device already available on Sprint’s prepaid brands Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile as the Alcatel Dawn.
The Alcatel Streak has not much to offer in the specs department, and for the takeaway price, that didn’t come as a big surprise. Upfront is a 4.5-inch 854×480 display, a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an expandable 8GB ROM, a 5 MP main camera, a VGA front snapper. The Alcatel Streak runs Android 6.0 out of the box and powered by a 1,780 mAh battery.
You can get the Alcatel Streak from Cricket with a prepaid plan at $29.99.
The Second device on Cricket’s entrants is the LG Xpower which is targeted at power-hungry users. The LG X power made its first debut back in May and has as its unique selling point a 4100mAh battery which promises up to 2 full days of uninterrupted usage.
Aside from the 4100mAh battery, other specs are middling, including a 5.3-inch 720p display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, expandable 16GB storage, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash as well as a 5 MP front-facing camera.
The LG X power runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be available at Cricket from August 26 for $159.99 inclusive of tax and with activation of a smartphone plan.
